SPOTLIGHT: CTK Welcomes Student Teachers

CTK is excited to announce that two student teachers from Concordia Nebraska will be joining us for the next 8 weeks as a part of their training to become a Lutheran teacher.

Ms. Johnson will be joining us in first grade while Ms. Adams will be student teaching in third.

"Hello! My name is Kayla Johnson, and I am student teaching in first grade at CTK. When I was considering potential careers, education stood out to me. I have always wanted to work with kids and share the gospel in my place of work. Teaching at a Lutheran school was the perfect mixture of both of my interests. I have become passionate about teaching and helping young children grow. I love interacting and building relationships with students as well as seeing that "light bulb" moment when I am teaching. I am so excited to learn in the next few weeks, and I appreciate you welcoming me into your community!" -Kayla Johnson

"Hello! My name is Makayla Adams, and I am so excited to be at Christ the King! Sharing the love of Jesus is my kingdom goal, and teaching is just one way I can shine His light. I have always loved kids and how excited they are to learn. Their curiosity about God’s creation is something I look up to. I pray that I can be just a small part of CTK’s mission of raising up the next generation for a lifetime of Christ-like leadership in a world that needs it most. Thank you for having me for this short time!" -Makayla Adams
